Welcome to Strother Brothers Auto Care, a full-service auto repair shop built on trust, integrity, and a genuine commitment to our community. Our story began long before the Strother Brothers name. The business traces its roots back to 1946, when it operated as Aiken Auto Body under the leadership of Mel Aiken. In 2021, the business entered a new chapter when it was taken over and transformed into what is now Strother Brothers Auto Care.

During our first year, my brother and I operated as mobile mechanics, bringing our automotive knowledge and repair services directly to customers throughout the local community. This experience gave us the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the people we serve while understanding firsthand what customers value most from an auto repair shop. After two years of mobile service, we opened our fully equipped facility, giving us the space and resources to provide a broader range of professional automotive services.

As a Veteran-Owned and Operated business, the values we developed through military service continue to shape the way we operate. My background began as a Diesel Technician in the Marine Corps, where discipline, responsibility, attention to detail, and dedication were essential every day. After leaving the service, I continued working on vehicles for friends and family, eventually turning that passion for automotive repair into a business dedicated to serving our community. Today, those same principles guide how we approach every vehicle that enters our shop.
